Clay Play sessions (2 hours across two Fridays)

We are excited to have Clay Play join us at The Curiosity Cafe. Clay Play is a joyful, hands-on pottery adventure designed especially for little hands.

Across two creative sessions, children will squish, roll, pinch and build using real ceramic clay, exploring textures, patterns and their own ideas, with the chance to have a supported go on the pottery wheel (age appropriate).

In the second session, children will decorate their bisque-fired piece using a selection of colourful glazes, underglazes, stencils and wax resist.

All materials, tools, aprons and kiln firings are included, and each finished piece will be glaze-fired and ready for collection within a week. Sessions are fully risk-assessed and led by a DBS-checked practitioner. £20 per child for the full two-session experience.

Refreshments such as teas, coffees, soft drinks and cold snacks are available at our counter.
